The whole Malaysian team were at the Sports and Youth Ministry, Putrajaya for a Flag Handing Ceremony. The press were there as well and it was a very memorable and exciting event where the Minister shook hands with all the participants and shared some light moments. The Director of the Malaysian Sports Council was also present. The event was featured in a new local dailies (The Star and Kosmo) and also TV3 and RTM news.
Meanwhile, we are bracing ourselves for battle. We'll be flying off to St Petersburg, Russia on 10 October 2009 (4 more days). Wish us luck!
