From 26-28 June 2009, 14 Persatuan Taekwon-do Negeri Perak (ITF) were at Alor Star to participate in the abovementioned Championship. Out of the 14 people, 10 were participants, 2 were umpires, 1 coach and 1 team manager.
10 states participated with the likes of Selangor, Sarawak, Pahang, Kelantan, Malacca, Penang, Kedah, Johor, Terengganu and of course, Perak :) Sarawak was the top performing state with 8 Gold Medals (*salute*). Perak managed to bag 1 Gold, 8 Silver and 4 Bronze medals. Will have to do better the next round.
