Taekwon-do ITF in Ipoh had the most happening events which span across 2 years. It started on the 31st of December 2010 and ended on 2nd of January 2011.
On the 31st of December, there was a black belt grading for 4 ppl who couldn't make it to the grand grading on 2nd of January. Participated and upgraded at the grading were Ms Lee Ji Ching (3rd Degree), Mr Chan Kar Hao (3rd Degree), Mr Ong Rui Yi (3rd Degree) & Ms Audrey Chan (1st Degree).
In the afternoon, a Leadership Camp was held for around 40 participants (Red belts and above). The trainers focussed on leadership skills and instructing skills. The whole hall was bustling with activities and lots of learning.
The Leadership Camp ended on the night of 1st of January 2011 with all participants now equipped with excellent leadership skills. They're ready to take on anything! :)
2nd of January 2011 began with a New Year Party and Celebration of Senior Master Mohd Azwan Khoo's 8th Degree Black Belt promotion. Around 100 people attended this grand event, with some coming from as far as Langkawi and Selangor. This shows how respectable SM Mohd Azwan Khoo is.
After lunch, a grand Black Belt Grading was conducted and all 42 people who graded on that day were promoted to 3rd, 2nd and 1st Degree respectively. It is the BIGGEST ever black belt grading held in Ipoh in a few years, and certainly one of the toughest. Everybody passed with FLYING COLOURS.
The year 2011 has just begun with a loud BANG! Better things will certainly come our way! :)
